Dublin is calling!

The tickets have been purchased.  We will be leaving at the end of May to fly out to Dublin.  Although a bit of excitement is kicking in, nervousness still invades.  It is one thing to visit Ireland for a short time but to move for an extended period is quite different.  Our flight is only a total of 12 hours which is good since I thought it would be around 18.  The challenge is figuring out how to fit all that we need into only 2 suitcases each and keeping a toddler busy on a plane.

I will go where you lead me...

This blog is being created for our family and friends to follow along as we venture out on our new journey.  We recently discovered that we will be moving to Ireland for a while.  Last year at this time, well actually, just last month I never would have guessed those words would come out of my mouth.
We have been very busy sorting, organizing, packing and preparing for this trip.  So "Lord willing", we will be in another country come this June.  Although, I am extremely nervous I look forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for us.

A verse that has stood out to me since last year is,

Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”

NIV
James 4: 13-15

Another verse that I have recently relied upon is:

You will keep in perfect peace
those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in you.

NIV
Isaiah 26:3
